10th november: 3rd place at the Kiteboard Pro World Tour 2008 !

The finals of the KPWT just ended yesterday in Essaouira, Morocco. Waves and wind finally arrived
for our last days of competition, so we did all disciplines : Freestyle, Wave Masters, and Course Racing.
The young Jesse Richman (Hawaii) won almost everything. Second place in freestyle was Leander Vyvey (Belgium), and I got the 3rd place.
This podium was also the same for the overall ranking of 2008 season.
This year was really great, we visited nice places around the world and the ambiance on tour was nice!

- 4th november: Finals of the KPWT in Essaouira ! Finals of the Riders contest !

The wind is not blowing as strong as usual in Morocco, but we still have 5 days, so we hope that
the conditionswill be better to let us finish the competition...

- 30th october: Last days of training in Spain...

In two days we are living to Morocco (Essaouira), for the last stage of the Kiteboard Pro World Tour!

- 3rd october: Lacoste Perfumes.

- 29th september : Catamaran kite tour.

So happy to ride with my new boards: Essenz 132 (freestyle), and Onda 5'8 (waves).

- 24th september : Brasil !

Since 10 days we are in Cumbucco, Brasil, for the 6th stage of the Kiteboard Pro World Tour 2008.
I have been reallly impressed by all the local riders, they have an amazing level !
So I finished 13th in the freestyle event, and 4th at the course racing. To see all the pictures

Now I am staying in Cumbuco some more days to train with my friend Victor Hays.

Next stage in Marocco from 1rst till 9th of november !

My brother Thomas has entered a short kitesurfing clip into the Riders contest on line.

- 14th july : Kiteboard Pro World Tour -- Stage FOUR -- Turkey !

We are 3 days into the fourth leg of the KPWT here in Istanbul, Turkey!
The first day brought great winds, enabling us to finish the single elimination in which I was third.
Yesterday we began the double eliminations where I lost against Leander, so I'm am now 4th overall in
the freestyle.
Tomorrow we are going to the Bosphorus straight, to ride and hopefully make a Hang Time competition.
Being very busy with big international ships and passenger ferries, it will no doubt be an experience.
A little bit of geographical information: The Bosphorus is a stretch of water separating the European
and the Asian parts of Istanbul.
It is a difficult body of water to navigate due to its treacherous currents and great twists and
turns.
In its most narrow part it is only 650 meters across; its furtherest separation it is 4.5 km. It is
35 km. long.
The Bosphorus connects the Marmara Sea at the south to the black sea Black Sea in the north.

We still have the Course Racing to complete, so we are all crossing our fingers to get some more wind
before the end of the event !

- 6th july : Kiteboard Pro World Tour -- Stage THREE -- Italy -- !

We just finished the third stage of the KPWT in Como Lake, Italy ! Wind was not blowing everyday, so
we just had time to finish a single elimination in freestyle, and I took the 5th place.
My friend Leander Vyvey from Belgium took the first place !

In less than a week we all go to Turkey, Istanbul, for next stop !

We just finished the second stage of the KPWT in Paros, Greece, where we had good conditions.
I finished 5th in the freestyle event, and 4th in the course racing.
I'm happy with these positions because I injured my arm just before the competition.

Today we just finished the first stage of the Kiteboard Pro World Tour 2008 in France.
I took the third place in the freestytle event, the 5th place at the course racing, and 9th in the
Waves. We had really strong conditions, with more than 30 knots...

Before the event I was in Britanny, where I was training with my friend Cyril Rochard.
Now I will go back in Spain with my brother Thomas, to train and do some videos...
